In April we published an article on Lucyanne, one of our volunteers, who decided to make her Two Oceans Marathon entry count for more than personal achievement. She challenged supporters to sponsor her for every km completed, the proceeds going to Christine Revell Children’s Home.
Up to and inlcuding the 4th of June, payments made towards her RUN WITH ME PROJECT amounted to R 16 293.00! We would like to extend congratulations to the organisers, Lucyanne Macloed and her team, and a BIG thank you to all her sponsors who contributed. But a special thanks to Lucyanne herself for taking this initiative. Especially as all this was achieved in just one week prior to the event.
