Christine Revell Children’s Home Annual Bazaar and Auction was held on 1 April 2017. The proceeds of this event currently amounts to R52 915!
Even though it rained the Friday prior to the event, on Saturday morning, the sun was shining and we were blessed with a lovely sunny day. Many patrons came to support this event. We had various stall holders, Rustenburg Junior Girls hosted a bric ‘n brac stall, Lucia Bredenkamp and her family hosted a Candy and Sweet stall, Deidre and Carol hosted a vienna and chips / hamburger stall , Ashleigh, our youngest stall holder, hosted a sweet stall and The Order of St. Lazarus hosted a clothing stall. The staff hosted two bric ‘n brac stalls, cold drinks stall and fishing pond.
We wish to thank all patrons who supported the event, and hope that they were able to get some great bargains. Special thanks to Grand West who donated a bottle of wine and Quarterdeck voucher, SA Rugby T-shirt, Ina Paarman Hamper, Table Mountain Cable Way vouchers, Protea Voucher for one night stay, Tigger Sunset Cruise Voucher. Other items were donated by individuals that were either auctioned or sold on the bric ‘n brac table.
Big thanks to Light Saver (Pty) Ltd, Fampack (Pty) Ltd; Athlone Gas Centre, Athlone Pharmacy and Olympic Service Station. A hearty thanks to various donations from lots of donors towards the various staff stalls.
